Playing at Crab park while I campaigned

Click title and listen to the podcast.

Al met a sweet female pup at Crab park and they romped for about twenty minutes in love play.

He was his usual aloof self while we campaigned, when by chance we met this playful pup at his first home park here in Vancouver. He still enjoys coming to refresh his markings.

(I'm getting better at editing- but sorry for the extra ahs- it was completely off the cuff-just playing)

Campaign trail karma schedules a meet with Tracey Shane

Had one heck of a good day tripping up Kingsway handing out fliers and campaigning. I stopped around 3:30 at Trout Lake to allow the White Wolf to play, while I sat beside a young lady with a guitar leaning encased against the bench to her left. She liked my hat so I did a little bit of political chatting and handed her some paper. We shared a bit of our lives and then an old buddy came by with his Wolf. We all had a sprinkling of laughter about a variety of subjects.

After his wolf howled at him to get going, my bus driving bicycling friend had to leave. Now the young lady pulled her guitar out of its case and made it sing sweetly. I closed my eyes and listened to an original by Tracy Shane "Angel."

Then she told me a bittersweet story of how her guitar "Selena" came to her, being named after its former deceased owner. We talked of karma, how a wolf had figured into her day early as she did a search, and now here was my White Wolf. Then she did another original song "Trouble." This girl is talented! I truly enjoyed the moment. It was so rich.

The next story that flowed from Tracey was how she got the name for the band The Rekkening. It was a name her ex boyfriend had used against her, and now she's getting her fun out of using it to her advantage. She is a great story teller, born to entertain. It would be fun to catch a show and hear her for yourselves. We sat on my favorite "magic carpet" (park bench) and took rides through each other's lives. This sure dispelled a lot of the gloom I had earlier, and I realized that my karma gods had scheduled this meeting with Tracey's Karma gods and so because we both are creative people who listen to them, we kept the appointments.

She's looking for a drummer, so get on it Ringo! just google "The Rekkening" and get her email address for a try-out, karma-type appointment.

Tracey had sent me this link a long time before today 14th October
I've been busy
It's a Halloween romp her boyfriend is at and here is his band's website:

4 month old Jack Russel shot by hunter on Quadra Island

Turns out we have another great white Hunter incident, that makes me want to puke.

This man has shown himself not to be trusted with a gun. How has he escaped detection of our vaunted gun registry system designed to keep Psychopaths from supposedly carrying weapons? This could not have been an accident as a responsible gun owner would always control where his muzzle was pointing and the gun should not have fired near a roadway. This puppy was executed by a mental degenerate who has no sense of right or wrong.

I said it was idiocy back then to expend energy on such a system for the good it would do. The whole thing was a political smoke screen, a government boondoggle to pretend to find a solution. Only idiots believe Psychotics can be ferreted out and controlled by gun laws.

Some one who would do this to a 4 month old puppy should be preemptively removed from society, as all indications are that this person is likely to harm humans in the future, too

Aloofus is getting crowd habituated now...

Although he shuns contact initiated by those that would only wish to love and reach for him, the White Wolf is doing well.

Yes, those who aren't familiar with a socialized, but originally wild animal, will call him "spooked." In comparison to a domestic dog he is dysfunctional skittish.

In actuality, he's just very careful, not that afraid, but extremely cautious. The first encounters with humans at 20 weeks were not good. He associates people reaching for him with bad news. The fact is, as I stated before, that it was 4 months before he let me touch him first time.

He also tore into my face when I asked for him to handed over to me upon meeting, when he was initially left with us. I knew then that he was going to be a problem. I honestly tried to find a good home for him for about a year after we moved to the city. Finally he began to bond and I got to understand and love him deeply. Now he is my furry soul. If Rolly hadn't been around then, I would never have been able to bridge the gap.

All my dogs have taught me, but this one more about life and relationships and communication than I had learned in all the time before we met. Aloofus is really very sweet inside, but cautious.

Must I and others cater to the unreasonable fears of others?

The situation was one of a person having unreasonable fears of my dog off leash. My dog does not go near people, so I found this person's intrusion into my peaceful world, a law induced and encouraged act of social hatred.

This person harangued me mercilessly. yet I had done nothing to her, except walk by. My dog stays put where I tell him and is not in the least interested in her, nor anyone. If approached, he runs.

Therefore without any intrusion into her space, I demand the right to walk by peacefully. People who have unreasonable hatred or fears of dogs should deal with it.

I have a well grounded, scientifically substantiated fear of the burning of fossil fuels and what that will do to the environment and the chances for the survival of my offspring. I have personally given up my addiction to gasoline four years ago, and wish to breath clean air. Let's cater to that first, please!

Leash laws? Fack off and pick up the crap that comes out of tailpipes, first! Before city/state harassment of my dog can occur over something the has been a normal part of human canine co-existence for at least one half million years without any serious problem, I want something done about the motor vehicle, which is proving to be the end of human existence in 80 years.

I demand something be done about the real threats to me. I'm tired of catering to the lowest bovine denominator by our politicians, so that these lack luster corrupt morons can keep choking the life out of my society with poor legislation spurred on by inciting fools into hatred and then catering to that while their business friend's investments soar keeping pollution intact.

Only recently did Canada spend more than 20 billion dollars to cater to GWB's unreasonable fears of terrorism. These supporters of social fear mongering are christians who don't mind killing a million Iraqis to placate their propaganda induced fears. Nor spending a trillion dollars to create more instability, instead of following what it says in their bible-- turn the other cheek, make peace- war begets only war. What ye soweth, so shall ye reap.

There is never a need to cater to another's unreasonable fears. Let them deal with them, otherwise we have the rule of those who enjoy hating. Eh, Mr. Harper? Politicians who use the lever of fear are not to be trusted.

Harper's campaign office is filled with haters, run by fraudsters like Mr. Emerson.

If my dog and I walk by someone and they make a fuss about being afraid of my dog, even after we are far past them, I see an oppressive idiot trying to assert their illusions into my world. This is not on! when my dog and I have walked by them in peaceful innocence. Not for the votes of the "law" abiding orientals will I cater too this idiocy.

I don't trust people who eat dogs and try to make me and my dog out as a problem because of their social training. Not on. You want the freedom to drive a polluting vehicle in my environment I will have the right to keep my dog in peace!

A political Wolf in Kits, Vancouver

Aloofus was happiest today of all the days on the campaign trail so far. He played with Murto (looks a bit like this one in the photo) an old buddy half his age.

He was free to socialize in several parks. For him that's what it's all about. It was a perfect day weather wise. The sun was out and cumis were forming in the morning over the North Shore Mountains. they dissipated in the afternoon and there was a nice sea breeze keeping things fresh.

Many people were toking up in an open, but not blatant manner. None were a threat to me or anyone! some had beers and were responsible as well.

Peace to all of you and thanks for your support. Sorry the White Wolf is so shy. Nothing personal. Thanks for understanding.

A Kitsilano Wolf named Jake

Sorry about not putting up Jake sooner, R, but I couldn't find the download until now, being in some folder I wasn't aware of.

Jake is also terminally beautiful as we can see.

I think we have met before, maybe with someone else and Jake?

He's got the Salmon berry nose color, too! Man is he ever special!

A Wolf's daily journey begins with a few hugs!

When I get up and go out to greet my White Wolf, he is always in a happy mood. He likes a long tour of his favorite haunts.

"There are stories to be lived! come on let's go!"

His contagious joy of life tugs at my spirit, freshening it for the day.

One of the White Wolf's GF fed me too, today!

He is bonus good Karma!

Thanks Delia for the handouts. She is a lovely neighbor whom I've talked to on occasion because she was another one of Al's many gift bearing GFs.

Today, Delia gave him a brimming 2 lbs of cut up Bologna, some Chunks of ham, Salami and beef. She gave me also 4 nice ham and cheese sandwiches which I have already dug into, adding some lettuce and Condiments. Um Um In my life recently, Native neighbors have been the most generous.

Turns out her husband's name is Klaus, too, and parlays the German! She has promised to introduce him soon. Such a great conversation piece my White Wolf is. My life is brimming with good karma although I am poor, because of him.

I used to think that was impossible, happiness without money!

There are good cops everywhere doing good work. All you need to do with anyone to get the best response is respect them. That can save your life in today's world where cops can be stressed, plus poorly vetted for the job.

They are armed and some are itching to use their weapons, given a half chance.

Best not to escalate a situation. That doesn't mean you have to be intimidated by them either. Although I get pretty abusive verbally when someone gets that way with me, violence doesn't enter my brain. Unless it's to defend myself. Then there will be no holds barred.

It was like the White Wolf, today, at the lake. He had tooth to tooth, tete et tete. The younger guy was alpha but mine broke off and came to me as soon as the other guy's owner stood in. (Too soon I thought-M was watching and thought she saw him knee him roughly- I saw a male rough alpha play gesture.) I like our independent friendship with the love of animals in common.

She is also quite the activist and politically aware, from the sounds her stories of protest. Not many, (she's not as self promoting as I am) but still we are in the same groove--left of center.

I told her as she helped me stuff flier with leaflets, that she brought to mind a fantasy of political campaigning that anyone might have, especially a writer, about having intelligent, pretty, young, idealistic women in my circles.

I almost sound like that Nobel prize winner (a while back) who said the same thing on As it Happens, Radio One, CBC,

"What finer things in life are there, Micheal, than beautiful, intelligent young women and Psychedelic drugs?"

The White Wolf was pure joy today, meeting my expectations

Are these off duty cops? (of course all cops don't hunt or are corrupt--sometimes it just feels that way--sorry to those who are good people- you have to be special to remain fair and compassionate in this job, too bad many lose their humanity quickly and consider us the enemy-get off supporting the prohibition policies and stay neutral, you will gain much support from a largely law abiding but oppressed segment of society)

Knowing the depth of emotional sophistication of my White Wolf, I cry when I look at this picture.

These two people are probably not cops, but they enjoy killing for pleasure. That statement is written all over their faces. It is from this pool that our police are hired, this I know!

Read on to find out why I have issues with policing, and those who kill or injure for sport! The VPD doesn't protect the poor of the city and enjoys taking a tough approach, encouraged through the breaking of the police act (2007-3940 OPCC file), by Jim Chu, Chief VPD, for the obstruction of Justice, supporting the shooter of Paul Boyd before an investigation was even started.

The bovines who support this hard line idiocy are happy when the police take a trophy and may not feel it important, but to me the loss of Paul Boyd will never be impartially investigated. His loved ones will feel his loss as I would the loss of my wolf to some smiling trophy hunters. The eyewitness account (uncontrolled by the police) right after the shooting said that Paul had his hands up and that there was no reason to shoot 9 shots endangering many citizens. Did the shooter want to execute a citizen for injuring a cop and teach people a lesson not to fack with cops? It is a valid question. There certainly was no reason to poison the investigation by the chief. Even I had the smarts not to write anything until long after the Chief obstructed justice. It was his legal duty to say, "The matter is still under investigation, therefore I can NOT comment."

Like all my other dogs, Aloofus kept his distance and let me deal with the targeted assault on me today. I am the alpha in my pack and take all action, make all decisions. And people are true morons if they think that their dogs should get involved or encourage them to. This makes for dangerous unpredictable dogs and will lead to the death of the dog.

Rather than have to worry about his reaction getting involved, he let me deal with it. I had his leash and used it to defend myself swinging it with intent to injure, at the guy's head. I'll not trust the police to protect me again, since I charged four of them for breach of trust, for failing to protect me, take a single note and ignore a witness to believe the perp and his gf who was the building manager. This allowed her to torment me through attempted evictions until I got her fired and the threatening goon left the building, all so that they could pretend that they did a proper job. The police don't protect the poor, but do like taking trophies--my hat is still in the evidence room. Also the OPCC protects the police, even if they commit murder!

I have posted a few times before, that I hoped that this would be my White Wolf's reaction in a tense human situation, not wanting to lose him if he got involved. He is completely safe and the todo didn't require anyone else, but me.

Read some of my true encounters with the RCMP.

I post everywhere and some are targeted and retracted by the police as you can see when you try to google them.

I still haven't seen a cop for the assault on me, it's not important enough, by the looks of it.

"This last statement has to be revised to my great relief (because if we don't have the police doing a proper job to turn to, we have no security and must arm ourselves---Thanks Constable Holtz)"

The VPD is often busy trophy hunting, though.

Aloofus Sounds like a Wolf when he Howls

His warble is so surreal in our city setting.

It is also rare. Only when the neighborhood has been fully engaged, with the coyotes across the road joining in, does Al sound out!

Within seconds the others stop their songs wondering at the wild tugs in their souls, while Aloofus rules the airwaves.

I long to hear him once more this year!

Al and I were out on the Streetbarker Jaunt

I meant to say that Aloofus my White Wolf was born in the wilds near here, first raised a few kilometers south of these photos.

This is where he first came to live with me! The Pump House is my first short story, not entirely fiction!

Yeah, he was the talk of the walk, today! Girls can't resist trying to reach for him! Man are they ever bold today! One might even say brazen if I didn't enjoy it so much.

Al is doing great in crowd. After all, he is a well domesticated, but wild animal. Being able to walk in crowds down Robson Street is an amazing feat for him. When we tried it after first arriving 4 years ago he could only stand one block of it at a time! Today it was 6.5 hours of crowds!

He is a sweetheart, very timid, as wild wolves are in our world.

The wonder of it is, that he trusts me fully. This stirs my soul! What a lovely creature and he follows me willingly!

He is still playful, rambunctious with a same sized dog, a bit younger is his preference. Al is my ambassador and I could not have bonded with him if I weren't at my present level of personal self confidence and maturity. He is timid around crowds of people, especially if they are reaching for him. I don't mind him being so. A few people get it, because they understand Wolves. I'm the alpha! he doesn't protect me. A, person with less self confidence might have tried to "harden" him up with rough treatment. He wouldn't still be with me if I had not been extremely patient with him. He has taught me so much!

It didn't take long for him to get used to my booming voice, today. I knew Aloofus was good with it all, because he never tried to steer me down a side street, as he does if he's had enough. This whole thing between him and me is teamwork with playful tension. He is constantly trying to be alpha in a playful way, always pushing, but finally submitting when I admit that he is special.

Walking with him downtown Vancouver doing the Streetbarker thing is as much fun and challenging for me as a cross country hang gliding flight was.

Love Unleashed

Harold shuffled with bent head down the path. He was trudging home slowly, pushing all his belongings in a cart that he had made two years before, from a baby carriage. A police officer had run him out of a small town in eastern Canada for stealing a shopping buggy. The fact that the cart had actually come from another town had made no difference to the cop. Harold had spent the night in jail, without a meal. Early the next morning he had been driven from the inhospitable fiefdom. After having been ejected unceremoniously from the cruiser near the corporate boundary, the cop sped off with a warning never to come back. Today, home was under one of Burnaby’s many railway overpasses.

The weather had been dropping to near zero at night during the last week. It had also been typically lower mainland damp for the last two months. The lazy hot days of the summer drought had been long forgotten. This was close to what most people considered to be the warmest time of the year for the human spirit, the Yuletide, though. Harold had long ago forgotten the way that that warmth had felt, too.

There was nothing in his life, now, but cold fear. This was not the trivial
fear that had teased him when the procurement of enough daily alcohol had become a problem. Nor was it the somewhat more wrenching fear of being without someone who loved him, he was used to that. Neither was it the more real, ever present fear of being hurt in a violent confrontation with those who hated him and his kind, the homeless. Harold had become immune to pain long ago. No, this was the primal fear of the abyss.

Harold had begun to trudge the very edge of the chasm in a bold, flirting,
way. It came to Harold that if he didn’t prop up his flagging will to live
soon, he would be gone. The only trace that he had ever lived might be a
statistical blip in Canada’s growing Calcutta syndrome.

Low mental function had not contributed to Harold’s precarious predicament. Rather it may have been an overabundance of sensitivity and perception that accompanied Harold to his home tonight. He was a victim of emotional suicide, slain by an overdose of guilt.

Strictly speaking Harold was not really without a family, either. He had
three children and the same number of grandchildren somewhere across the country. Since his mother’s death, though, six years back, he had had no news of their whereabouts. Harold had wallowed through great warps of time, drowning in the guilt of every alcohol fuelled rage that had served to sever the ties with his children. He hadn’t even met any of his grandchildren and knew that he never would. Many years back the tears had dried up and had left Harold awash in a deep pool of regret. He had suffered the humiliation of knowing that his children had made a wise choice in denying him access to their lives.

The overpass that Harold was seeking loomed ahead. He needed to take a foot path, worn and packed by many homeless feet around the cold concrete approaches. The thought crossed his mind that he didn’t care if there would be violence tonight. He was tired, wet and very cold; colder than he had ever been before. Harold’s core temperature was dangerously low due to starvation.

It was so cold in his heart that paradoxically, it seemed like there was a
glowing ember fanning slowly into a comfortable warmth. He had heard it said that people who lie down to die in the snow have this feeling of a soothing heat pervading their entire body. Harold had read, a long time ago, that to freeze to death was a nice way to go. There was no pain. The fear of dying seemed to be numbed while the abyss glowed like a beckoning volcanic crater. Perhaps he would be lucky and it would happen tonight under the overpass. Harold wanted to smile at this prospect. He felt ready. If only it would be so.

The traffic rattled the bridge joints, sending loud booms and banging noises reverberating around Harold’s shelter. He was the first to settle down for the night here. There was the usual broken glass and garbage to feather his rough bed. Nothing but the blast of roaring traffic and exhaust fumes surrounded him. The noise and smells seemed to swirl through his empty soul. These were the sounds and tastes of the vortex opening. The Reaper’s wormhole into infinity had stabilized here tonight, among the bridge girders, waiting to swallow Harold up should he close his eyes.

Harold placed his damp, dirty bedding carefully, to make his longed for
passing as comfortable as he could. His face was a mask of calm resignation. Maybe things would be better in the next life, he thought. The kernel of warmth began to grow in the pit of Harold’s soul. Welcoming it, he smiled for the first time in a great while. Drawing the soiled stinking covers tight, he tried to contain and nourish it.

Harold’s spirit began to drift on a warm rising eddy, the prospect of
release sending his soul soaring. Through the bridge works, past the rain
soaked vegetation, up into the damp overcast he wafted up, like smoke. The stars appeared bright and coldly distant as Harold climbed from the
atmosphere. The planet receded as his consciousness floated up past low
orbit and he beheld the curvature of the earth. The countdown sequence for deep space insertion had begun. Vast energy fluctuations pulsed around him as the wormhole started to close. Harold had clung to his dirty blanket, bracing himself as the black-hole began to distort his quantum structure. It was going to be one heck of a ride. Butterflies of anticipation fanned the growing fire of fusion that would reorient the atoms of Harold’s soul to transform his mass and energy. Joy welled up then, in stellar proportions. Harold was more than ready for the transition, he was happy to be going in fact. A great smile stretched his dirty, haggard face from ear to ear.

Suddenly, to his dismay, there came an intrusion, a violation of Harold’s
personal space. What had felt like a hand, squirmed its way under the
closely held blanket. Harold began instinctively to clamp down on it. Self
preservation intruded even as he wondered why he was now willing to
struggle, when only a moment before he had abandoned all hope and been ready for trans universal insertion.

The reaching, intrusive, hand felt different and less threatening as quickly
as the shock had come. It was covered in fur and had a strange wiggle to it. Harold felt a wet nose at the same time that he heard a whine, which
dispelled an instant, fear laden, realization that it was an animal.

The mewling creature snuggling up to Harold was a dog. A young puppy had sought out the warmth of Harold’s last moments. In seconds its breathing had calmed into a rhythmic, peaceful sleep. The tiny pup had wormed itself through Harold’s chest into his heart. Feeling safe and secure, it had quickly dropped off into a deep sleep. Its hot, fresh, life force, radiated directly through to Harold’s core, driving out and replacing the false, calm of a cold death. Harold stayed in a protective state of wakefulness for quite a while, letting the puppy warm him with love.

The energy that the tiny creature had exuded was disproportionately huge,
compared to its size. When Harold finally drifted off, he was dreaming of
sunny beaches filled with the happy laughter of children playing. Harold was left wondering if this was heaven in a serene, pleasant, reverie. He was no longer afraid of the chasm. Harold slept then, drifting gently on happy memories that had been abandoned for a lifetime.

”Snowflake, come! Please come, Snowflake!”

Harold thought that he had dreamed it at first. Then the tiny, desperate
voice repeated the refrain a little closer. Reality found itself in Harold’s
gentle grip on the little pup. It had stirred awake in response to, what
Harold had thought. was an angel’s call.

The little girl, perhaps eight or nine, wearing a head scarf just like her
more distant mother’s, stood at the bottom of the overpass and called out
again. The wee pup responded and let out a little yip of recognition. A very young, brown skinned beauty of middle eastern descent looked directly at Harold at the sound. Her mother was fast approaching, not wishing to lose her human pup to a dangerous situation.

Harold became cognizant of the trouble he could be in. Things might quickly escalate out of control. This could be a very bad situation if he didn’t say anything, so he spoke up, “Is this your little dog? He came to visit with me last night and kept me warm. He is safe and unharmed. I didn’t take him, honest.”

”Nola, don’t go closer,” said the angel’s mum as she drew near. Stress
colored her voice adding to Harold’s fear.

At this point Harold let the pup go from his tender grip. It ran a few steps
towards its young master and then stopped, looking back. Snowflake plunked down on his fluffy belly at that point and refused to budge.

”Snowflake, come here, please,” begged the little angel named Nola.
Snowflake’s curly, Samoyed tail began to waggle and he did a play-bow, from the lying position, which turned into a sweet reach with the left paw.
Still, though, Snowflake remained where he had lightly fallen, looking back and smiling over his shoulder at Harold. It seemed the pup wasn’t inclined to leave the safety of Harold’s warm bed without returning the favor. The cute white fluff ball actually blinked with both eyes at Harold, sealing a promise. Snowflake appeared reluctant to part until Harold’s safety was assured.

This was the impasse that found Nola’s mother, Dr. Jasmine Hussein, taking confident charge. It had taken her only a short time to size up the
situation and declared it benign. With great respect she began to talk to
Harold.

”Thank you kind sir! Thank you very much for taking good care of Snowflake. Nola has been so worried about him that she could hardly sleep last night. Would you like to come to our house and have something to eat? Nola and I would like to have your company for breakfast. We have eggs, no bacon. I am a very good cook and would like to give a gentleman of your stature, a taste of our traditional cuisine. Will you please come with us, we don’t live far from here?”

At this point Snowflake got up and waggled his way to Nola. Playing with her in happy reunion, he ran toward Harold three times, urging him on. There was nothing for it but for Harold to pack his pram and join the joyful procession. Dr. Hussein and Harold brought up the rear, while Nola and Snowflake romped ahead, happy to be with each other once again.

Dr. Hussein, being the intelligent cancer researcher that she was, took the
situation firmly in hand and projected respect, hoping that it would
multiply upon its return. She voiced her heartfelt gratitude for Harold’s
good deed again, while extending her hospitality. In her culture a deed such as this was a chance to recapture, many times, the reward sent forth. This was a most valuable lesson for Nola, a priceless opportunity for growth. Dr. Hussein said,

“Do you have some clean clothes to wear, dear sir?”

When she saw that Harold was reluctant to answer, she continued quickly,
saying,

“My husband, thankfully, is your size. We will find you a few nice things. Perhaps you would have the time to use our bathroom and shower, while Nola and I find you some clean clothes? What is your name, sir?”

When Harold told her, she looked him in the eye and smiled the most genuine welcome at him that she could muster from the depths of her heart. They had reached the path which led to the wealthy neighbourhood where Snowflake resided. Nola and the little hobo had already vanished up it, into the trees. Dr. Hussein stayed behind to give Harold a hand with his belongings through the rough twists in the footpath. Harold and Jasmine both smiled as they saw glimpses of the youngsters, one a white pup, the other a little brown girl, through the brush. Harold had the distinctly strange feeling that he was returning home, like a prodigal son.

The lady and her daughter searched gleefully through Mr. Hussein’s well kept clothes closet while Harold took a long bath. Both girls didn’t let thoughts of hording intrude into their act of generosity. The mother took the time to explain the parable concerning giving and receiving that had been passed to her from her now dead mother.

This story was the equivalent of every such tale in most cultures. These are the lessons in human interaction which teach the value of selfless
generosity. They are necessary for the nurturing of compassion in the hearts of the young. Essentially, these foundations of social order attempt to separate humanity from the animal kingdom with the simple truism on which all of civilization operates, ‘What goes around, comes around.’

Dr. Hussein knew in her spirit that this was a win win opportunity and she
had had the confidence to act on it, dispelling her natural caution. She had
seen in Harold a soft core which needed her help, just as Snowflake had
received succor during the night. Jasmine had no unreasonable fears because she had been raised with love and strength. Her mother had taught her that the pleasures of sincere giving, receiving and loving are rewarding in themselves and require no concern past the immediate.

“Thank you so much for everything Jasmine, you have given me hope and food, the gifts of life. This I will treasure for ever. May your family be
rewarded,” said Harold, who was now a changed man. He was about to leave when first Jasmine, then Nola joined him in a family hug. As Harold finally turned to go he had resolved in his heart to find his grandchildren.

Al and Annie, young love

He was a charmer, even when less than a year old.

You can see how wonki his right eye is in this picture. Al was wall-eyed until his head grew broader. Still is a bit.

The beauty and the Beast

My White Wolf and I were out and about today! I’m handing out tiny cards and inviting people to read my blogs.

A few get it right away and like my frugal interface with my community. I say there is a way not to keep escalating costs in our government,

“The people should hire more cheapskates like me who haven’t sold their souls to developers and money. You have ten votes and I’m promising to stir things up if you give me one of them.”

I’ve learned to ignore those who don’t want any part of it.

Al is the attraction more than me. I have to wear the hat to get noticed beside him!

Those that seem a bit reluctant to take the card, change their mind when I tell them,

"Please Google my blogs, to find out just how many tokes over the line I am."

People generally don’t much want to have anything to do with politicians. It’s a sad state of affairs when no one feels that they can trust their leaders.

My White Wolf trusts no one other than me! I truly wish that I could work to represent people as I am very concerned with the issues.

I might not have much in the way of material wealth but I do wish to leave our city/country a better, more enlightened place, when I go.

I don’t even feel comfortable asking people for donations to my campaign, because I am not tried, or tested yet, in this field of endeavor.

I could carry out an effective campaign, approaching thousands of people personally for very little in the way of materials, dog food. I wish someone who understands the importance of having a changing of the guard, to give fresh perspective, really is to any institution, would donate a bit of filthy lucre to me. I’d spend it wisely.

Rolly took him under his wing and gave him the last year of his sweet life

I could walk on and go home, cooking breaking breakfast before the two would saunter into the yard, sometimes. Rolly would never leave him as he snooped around. He took care of him like Mr. Mom.

Al could torment him, though!

Rolly liked the little "suck"

Rolly lost Ben earlier that year and was depressed , being alone. He took to the little guy like a duck to water from the first moment that he saw him.
